Sister-Sections Agreement between Ottawa and Twin-Cities

The IEEE Ottawa Section - Region 7 (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) and the IEEE Twin-Cities Section - Region 4 (Twin-Cities, Minnesota, USA) have signed a “Sister-Section Agreement” on the 21st and 22nd of September, 2008 in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. The agreement was signed by Wahab Almuhtadi Ottawa Section Chair and Arun Kumar Twin Cities Section Chair and approved by Ferial El-Hawary IEEE Region 7 Director and Wilson IEEE Region 7 Director and officially announced at the 2008 IEEE Sections Congress held in Quebec City on the 22nd of September, 2008. The executives of the two sections agreed to communicate and share experiences, plus collaborate and cooperate in future events between both sections, their chapters, affinity groups, student branches and committees.
To accomplish great objectives for IEEE, this partnership agreement will bring a very fruitful cooperation and reap dividends on what can be accomplished with the resources of both Sections. For more details please click here to view the agreement.
